Cancellation Policy
ACKNOWLEDGMENT: The client contracts Helenaz Karaoke & DJ Services for mobile DJ services for the specified event. This agreement is binding upon acceptance and payment of a non-refundable 25% retainer. If the event type changes, Talent may terminate services, and payment is due immediately. The agreement is void after 7 days if not signed and returned. Any breach by the client may incur costs for enforcement. FEES: Total performance fee varies; a 25% non-refundable retainer is required. The remaining balance is due before the event. A 3% credit card processing fee applies. OVERTIME: Additional performance time is charged at a variable hourly rate and must be paid before the original end time. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES: The client is responsible for guest conduct, including equipment damage. Talent may cease performance if safety is threatened. Access to sound equipment may be restricted. TALENT CONDUCT: Food and drink for Talent are at the client's discretion. Talent will not consume food or alcohol without consent. Talent will provide sound and lighting as agreed. Wedding planners may assist but cannot give orders to Talent CREATIVE CONTROL: Talent has creative control over music programming, with exceptions for client requests and minors' attendance. Talent is not liable for unfulfilled music requests. TERMINATION OF SERVICES: If the client terminates services more than 30 days prior, the retainer is a termination fee. Less than 30 days requires payment of all incurred costs and balance. Postponements can transfer fees to a new date within 12 months. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Client must provide a staging area, power outlets, shelter for outdoor events, and ensure safety. Failure to meet requirements may affect performance. ACCESS TO VENUE: Talent needs at least one hour for setup and takedown. Additional charges may apply for access issues at Venues. CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT: Clients agree to cover credit card processing fees unless waived in advance. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The client agrees to hold Talent harmless from any claims related to their performance, except in cases of gross negligence. Helenaz Karaoke & DJ Services may take photos and videos at the event for promotional use, and the client waives any rights to compensation from such materials. REFUNDS AGREEMENT: The 25% retainer fee is non-refundable, and no refunds are issued after the event.
